OPENING NIGHT REVIEW. Just got back from opening night of Quisqueya Christian School's production of The Frog Prince by David Memet. Starring noneother than our own Camden Blowers as the Frog Prince and Brad Crofford as his faithful servingman Bill. Well done, guys.

Bill (Brad Crofford) dutifully picking flowers for the Prince (Camden Blowers). Nice tights, Camden!

NELSON NOTES. You have heard me talk about one of our staff members, Sadrack Nelson. He works with Greg Crofford in our extension education program, as well as pastor of the Cité Soleil church downtown. He is also part of a five-member team working on a Creole Study Bible for the Bible Society of Haiti. His group is resonsable for reviewing the introductions to each book, and writing notes for certain verses. They have been working with Dr. Roger Omanson of the Allicance Biblique Universelle. The team all have STNH connections: Nelson and three others are recent graduates, and the team leader, Pauris Jean-Baptiste was on our faculty for over 12 years. Great job, guys!

WE NEED A NEW CAT DOOR, BUT I MEAN REALLY... Okay, I know that Americans love their pets. I love mine, really I do! In fact, our little cat door is broken, and I really really want to get it fixed so that Ruby can come and go again as she pleases. So, I'm looking around on the internet for blueprints on how to build a cat door and I came across this page: Flo's Cat Door. It seems that Flo's owner tired of Flo bringing home live "presents" (mice, lizards, and so forth) and he designed a cat door that connects to his computer. If little Flo brings home a bird or a mouse in his mouth, the door want open. So the next time someone says, "What can you do with a computer?" you can tell them about Flo. Here's a picture, just to prove it (or you can click on the link above to see the whole article).

KREYOL KIDS KAMP. Had a great meeting with a group of children's workers here in Haiti. We spent this morning preparing the groundwork for producing curriculum for Children's camp. A big thanks to Steve Doerr, World Mission Literature and all the Nazarene VBSers who donated for this project!

The Committee includes participants from five churches, along with Amy Crofford and Scott Stargel (not pictured).

PUBLISHED! I can't believe it has taken me this long to update you all on the status of Linda's book. The initial printing of La Justice de Dieu, co-authored with William M. Greathouse, came out in January! We did an initial printing of just 50 copies, in order to have it reviewed. This will, hopefully, give us a chance to do a final edit before the major print run. The copies we did produce quickly sold out in our campus bookstore (of course it was just 15 copies). If you are interested in a copy of this book (a study of Paul's development of the doctrine of holiness in Romans, in French) let me know, and I'll put your name on the waiting list! IN ANY CASE, congratulations to Linda and Rev. Greathouse!

PUPPIES GALORE. Sunday morning started early as Linda discovered that Stormy (our German Shepherd) had delivered four puppies! It was rather chaotic as we encouraged her to leave her hole in the ground for the comfy box we prepared. After the move, she settled in and spent the rest of the day rounding out the litter at eight! What a squirmy mess of CUTENESS they are. All our black with smatterings of silver (like their mom). Mom and pups are doing fine. Kids are going crazy since we won't let them hold the puppies yet.

This certainly increases our current menagerie: Nine dogs, one cat, one hermit crab, three fish, a hundred Sea Monkeys, and one frog (and that's not even counting the little drinking bird. Remember those?!
