KIDS BOOK REVIEW. We finished The Tiger Rising by Kate DiCamillo. After we finished it (over two weeks, bedtime reading) tonight, I asked the kids what they thought about it. We decided to rate it : 0 to 5 "STAR"gels. Becca gave it 4-1/2 stars. "It would have been a five but there was a little too much sadness in it." Nick had no trouble giving it 5. In fact he wanted more stars, so we finally settled on 5+!
