PROJECT UPDATES. A couple of you have asked how my (Scott's) new job assignment is going, so I thought I would give you a quick update. I started my new position as coordinator of French Publications for World Literature Ministries of the Church of the Nazarene. A good chunk of my time was just getting the home office set up! Believe me, there were many days I wish I were back in Haiti where I knew where everything was! But with just a few days left to go in my first month of work, I have to say that I'm pretty well settled in. I'm working on several projects, but the two that have been taking up most of my time are the Manual project which will take about 10 months to complete and the French Lexicon an online resource to help our translators and editors puzzle out how to translate tricky English words and phrases. I've also been working a little bit on several French translation and editing projects that I brought with me from Haiti!
