CATCHING UP. Just so you all know, we are surviving the 100+ degree summers of Burlington, NC just fine. What a wonderful person, the one who invented air conditioning! Kids are doing fine. We have gone fishing twice now. Becca caught her first fish (as you can see, she thinks it's kind of icky). A big thanks to Pete Thomas, a fellow Powerliner and native of Alamance County who knows all the shortcuts to get anywhere. Nicolas was "on" yesterday, catching 10 and rubbing it on the rest of us! He is still enjoying hunting down all the wildlife of the area: rabbits, frogs, tadpoles, minnows, and bugs.
