OLD FRIEND (well, he isn't THAT old). It was great to have dinner with Rob Gailey. We were in seminary together with Rob. He spent some time in Malawi before joining Microfinance Consulting Services (part of World Relief). He travels to Haiti occassionaly in his position with MCS, and this trip in he had some free time to visit with us and the Croffords! Next time, bring WANDA AND CHILDREN!

Rob treated us and the Croffords to a nice meal out (courtesy of his dad, Dr. Charles Gailey, our professor at NTS). THANKS GAILEYS!

FIRST SUNDAY IN HAITI. Croffords arrived on Thursday and have been busy settling in. It's great to have them on the Haiti Team! This week will be filled with getting things squared away (buying a vehicle, organizing the home, etc.). This morning we joined the folks at Marlique Church of the Nazarene for service.

Greg meets the Maitre family. Jean Robert (next to Greg) is our Academic Dean and pastor of the Marlique Church of the Nazarene.

TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALLGAME! An unexpected and much appreciated blessing of our "exile" from Haiti was the chance for Nicolas and Becca to play organized baseball. T-Ball and coaches pitch. It was great to see them enjoy the game that their Dad loves so much!

Nicolas with his game face on. Becca only played two games, but was "Miss Focus" on the field and at the plate!
