WHAT HAPPENED TO OCTOBER? It's hard to believe I posted NOTHING in October. Not that NOTHING happened, I just didn't do it. So, in order to be fair to our 10th month, let me do a little recap of some of the events around our place:

COOKS ARRIVE. We welcome Lee and Pug Cook back to the Nazarene Campus. This couple took the challenge to come and "stand in the gap" for a few months while our regular bookkeeper (Sue Hood) is away. Lee has been busy, replacing termite eaten countertops in our homes, and fixing broken pipes, helping with vehicle maintenance, and ... well ... just about everything.

SETH, DOROTHY, ART. It was a bonanza of help for two weeks as our "regular volunteers" came to help build church pews and do all sorts of electrical projects on campus. It was great to have Papa and Granny Walters around again. And Art was in top form as he tackled a long list of projects with not nearly enough time to do it all. They hold the record for most toilets fixed in one day (eight down at the dorms)!

AMY AND HER FIRST LITERATURE PROJECT. Amy Crofford will be taking over my literature development responsabilities, and she just finished her first editing project: reading through the Haitian version of Neville Bartle's Holy God. Holy People. Good job, Amy!

RABBITS! Since a dog, cat, and hermit crab weren't enough pets, we now have RABBITS! They are cute and cuddly. Snowflake and Whitney (there was an Ember for a while, but she didn't make it). Nicolas decided he wanted to try his hand at photography, so he he set up his picture with his "models" (His sister and snowflake). Posted them and snapped one picture. Here it is:
