ART AND JOE HIT THE GROUND RUNNING. We welcomed Art Gier and Joe Stagman to Haiti this weekend. Art has been coming to Haiti for a few years now, helping out with electrical, plumbing, and just about every other type of project you can imagine. This is Joe's first visit, and he got a REAL taste of Haiti on Sunday morning. He and Greg Crofford visited the Zwazo Church of the Nazarene (Zwazo means "bird"). After a 30 minutes drive up the mountain, they met the pastor and continued on foot for a grueling 30 minute hike to the church!

Today we accomplished an incredible amount, rewiring Greg's office and installing an inverter system (inverters take battery power and convert it to usable AC current, for when we don't have electricity). Tomorrow's troubles (excuse me: "opportunities") involve fixing a lot of plumbing, so I plan on making myself scarce!
