GOING UP! Increasing the height of our security wall was only the first step. The second was to install a new, sturdier, and higher front gate to the campus. It was quite a trick getting it up the hill from the valley and then set in place. Thanks to Jim Koster (that's his back at far right) for all the work! Emmanuel, the welder, did a great job creating the decorative AND functional barrier.

It was a team effort lugging the new gate up the hill and in place. The old front gate can be seen in the foreground.

HOUSE OF BLESSING. We enjoyed participating in the House of Blessing orphanage dedication this afternoon. This is the dream project of Phil and Lonnie Murphy, and it has been in the works for over 14 years. Talk about perseverence!

FIVE MORE YEARS. Just received word that the Bible College has been certified by the Haitian Government for five more years. This is good news, as it means our degrees are recognized by the government, and graduates of our Bachelor's program can apply for civil status.

WELCOME NELSON. We welcome Nelson Sadrack to the staff of the Bible College. He joins us as the Assistant to the Dean. He will be in charge of Public Relatioins as well as our extension education program. Nelson is a graduate of our school, and was the valedictorian of his class! Hopefully, I'll have a photo to post soon!

BIRTHDAY BASHES. Even though her birthday isn't for another month, Becca REALLY wanted to celebrate with her friends. So we decided to let her turn six years old early! Had a great group of friends, and a unicorn themed party. Nicolas was a big help with the decorations!
