SECURITY. While I've been in the States, it seems there have been security issues at our campus in Haiti. As additional protection, it seems that Linda has "borrowed" a dog. I heard the news and felt better, till I saw the picture.

Oh, c'mon! Make a scary face!!

WAKE FOREST CASE STUDY. I am enjoying working with a group of MBA students from Wake Forest University. They are working on a case study involving the seminary. Long hours (for them more than me I think!). I'm looking forward to receiving their recommendations on Monday before returning to Haiti.

DEWEY WHITE. Rest in Peace. While here in North Carolina, I received word of the death of my Uncle Dewey. I quickly rescheduled my meetings for Wednesday, rented a car and headed down for the funeral. It was a long day and I turned right around after the funeral to come back.

THANKS GARY AND ART! Should have mentioned this earlier, but I wanted to say thank you to these two guys who came down to Haiti and helped out around campus!

SO WHAT DID YOU DO THIS SUMMER? Well one of our students was taking part in a mini-miracle. One of our churches on the South district was basically dead. The pastor had left. The people were gone. Not much hope. James Arbaugh, a missionary with Mission Aviation Fellowship, agreed to show the Jesus Film there. Afterward, on the first Sunday, 12 folks were in church, and the next Sunday 25. Lenes Pierre-Louis was asked to step in and lead the newly re-opened church. Lenes is a senior this year, but is spending his weekends traveling out to the country side to meet with the new group and keep the flame alive!
