GRADUATION PLANS. Well, final exams are next week and then an early graduation (May 11). These are always very trying times around the Stargel household, but God is definitely good. Each year it seems to get a bit easier, and so far things are going together well, thank the Lord.

We've removed two troublesome trees by the tabernacle and only two sheets of tin were destroyed. Not bad, if you ask me. The clean up is going slowly, but I'm sure it will be ready for graduation.

On a special note, please pray for two of our graduating seniors. They just found out that they will not be receiving their diplomas. They both failed a one-credit course (Haitian Literature). The professor gave them a second chance to take the final, but they both failed again. He has said that they will have to take the course again. While we are going to allow them to participate in graduation, they will both have to return next year to retake the one-week course. As you might imagine, they are quite upset.

GOOD FRIDAY. Stormy (our dog) let us sleep in this morning. I guess she decided since there were not children on their way to school, it wasn't worth getting up and barking like usual! We had a relaxing day at home. Kids died their Easter eggs (see pics below), and Nicolas was invited to a friends house for some pre-Easter fun! !

OUCH x2! Had two accidents on camps this week. One of our second year students broke his arm playing soccer. Doctor put a temporary cast on it and had him come back after a week. He went back expecting to have a pin put in, but the doctor said, "You must really be a child of God, because I've never seen a bone re-set itself like that." No operation!

On a second note, Kosters finally got their new truck. After weeks of waiting for licence tags to be issued, they picked it up on Friday. The dealer is only a couple of miles from here, and Corey stopped at the corner gas station to fill-her-up for the first time, and CRUNCH, got rear-ended. Not even 10 minutes old! She is fine, but the taillight and bumper don't look so good! They are, nonetheless, happy to have their vehicle!
