FIRST GRADE BLUES. Some of you know that our little Nicolas has been having a hard time adjusting to first-grade. We know we're not the only ones who struggle with this, but it caught us by surprise since he did so well with Pre-K and Kindergarten. He had eight days of sobbing his heart out in the mornings. We have been working with and praying for his teacher (Mrs. Baker) as well as Nicolas, and little by little it has gotten better. This morning he went down to say goodbye to Seth and Dorothy (see below) and forgot that he was supposed to be sad about going to school!
